Rules of the InspectionThe surveyor can not inspect it if he cannot access it.The surveyor does not disassemble any part of the vessel.The client should know that the surveyor may cancel the inspection if weather or other conditions do not permit a thorough inspection.The prudent surveyor may not suggest whether the client should purchase or pass. Pressure testing of any tank is not permitted.The client should check with his insurer or finance company to ensure that a haul-out and bottom inspection are not required. The surveyors responsibilities are included with the following itemsTo provide an accurate and complete report of the condition of the vessel.The report should identify any potential hazardous condition.The report should indicate any recent upgrades that would effect the value of the vessel.The report should indicate the fair market and replacement values and what appraisal procedure was used to determine these values.The report should address the recommendations section and indicate which standards are violated.
