The recommendations should be listed in their importance as they effect overall safety and seaworthiness. Recommendations Recommendations prior to launch: Ensure that a complete Coast Guard Safety and Signaling Package is aboard. Install backup ground tackle. The engine room fire extinguishers should be inspected and tagged. Have the yard check the rubber exhaust components. Protect batteries from shorting. Photo E on Page 5 Have the yard service the rusted steering gear, Photo C on Page 5. Have the yard determine cause of transom deteriorating from electrolytic action around the swim platform supports. Photo D on Page 5. Have the yard service bonding system terminals, all are in need of replacement. Clean propellers and rudders and apply new zincs. Recommendations at next haul out: Install isolation transformer. Clean the top of the fuel tank and apply rust preventative. Have the yard check Photos A & B on Page 7. Determine substances, the causes, and remove and repair de-lamination. Repair the fish door. Determine the cause of the extreme electrolysis to overboard components and install device to prevent this action. Conclusion and value This survey can not be construed to guarantee or warrant the condition or operational condition of the vessel as a sea trial was not conducted. This vessel is in overall good structural condition. I feel the value would be approximately $65,500 in todays market once repairs are completed and the engines were verified.
